I have been painting for as long as memory holds me. My work begins long before the first brushstroke. It starts with a feeling that refuses to leave. A body that changes. A forgotten story. A landscape. A book. A question about what we owe each other.

Nature is my point of departure. It teaches that transformation is not loss, but the very movement of life. Bodies become landscapes, memories become collective, and personal stories unfold into larger narratives about identity, feminism, oppression, belonging, and resilience.

A figure is never just a figure. An animal is never only an animal.

I want my paintings to ask something of us. To slow us down. To remember. To feel. To see one another again.
